Clift Rodgers Library is an informal independent library. It is one of only a few self-sufficient lending libraries left in the nation. There are no computers, no Internet connections and not even library cards. For more than 100 years, it has rewarded those who have discovered it with a satisfying variety of reading matter.

Today the library is a cheery gathering place for the patrons from the neighborhood, the town, many surrounding towns, and especially in summer, from all over the world. They come for books, for information, to visit the Consignment Shop and to enjoy the warm welcome extended to all at Clift Rodgers.
